Are we in America about to enter the dark hedonistic passage in time that swallowed up the Roman Empire?  In multiple very uncomfortable ways this is beginning to appear to be the case.

In the present political and social climate of this country the issue of morality would appear to be up for debate, by those who advocate widening its scope to include hitherto forbidden aspects of human behavior. And at the same time there appears to be serious consideration and movement from both dominant political parties toward reediting our most sacred national document - the Constitution.

Still most troubling appears to be the accelerating erosion of our Civil Liberties as guaranteed by the Constitution.  First by the Bush administration in the name of National Security, and now by a far more dangerous socially corrosive Extreme Liberal movement gaining great momentum in many areas of jurisprudence.

At the head of this movement is a politically powerful rear guard funded by the new Obama administration, and a Democratic majority in Congress. These extreme Left Wing advocates believe that we can have a workable society without - behavioral and moral guidelines. And they are most intent on remaking America in the image they have decided is – Politically Correct.

Politically Correct Limits on Freedom of Speech

The recent brouhah over the response of a contestant in the Miss America competitions, is a prime example of the new trend by hitherto background forces within our society.

Emboldened by a new presidential administration that is sympathetic to their cause, they no longer feel the need to lurk in the shadows, but to now push boldly to the forefront in their demands and attacks on the mainstream of our society.

These counter-culture forces have become so bold as to demand that others who oppose their agenda - not be allowed to espouse a contrary opinion in any public forum - even when asked their opinion. The following editorial by CNN contributor, Roland S. Martin states the matter in a clear light:

“Welcome to the world of Miss California, Carrie Prejean, who, since she answered a question regarding same-sex marriage in Sunday's Miss USA pageant, has been savagely attacked by those who oppose what she had to say.

“Frankly, this whole story is pretty stupid. Isn't the whole point of asking a question to get someone's true feelings, rather than the plastic and superficial answers we are all used to receiving?

Leading the burn-her-at-the-stake parade is media opportunist Perez Hilton, the self-described gossip queen, and the individual who kick-started this controversy by asking the initial question as to whether the issue of same-sex marriage should be left up to the states.

It seems that Hilton, who is gay, was none too pleased that Prejean chose to actually give her personal opinion on the issue, and ripped her on his blog after the show, using crude obscenities as he continued to attack her at every turn on his media blitz.

Sure, Prejean could have gone the safe route and given one of those answers that reveal nothing and are hard to decipher -- you know, the ones politicians give all the time -- but no! She actually gave her real opinion, and is now being torn to shreds for it.”

“What's interesting about this is that many of the same folks who are slamming her for her remark voted for President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, who both have the same belief: that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

“Even Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made it clear that she has the same view, and it was her husband, President Bill Clinton, who signed the In Defense of Marriage Act, the federal law that forbids states from having to recognize gay marriage in other states.

“In other words, four of the biggest liberals in the country have the same belief as Prejean, - but a beauty pageant winner is being torn to shreds. Hello, hypocrisy!”

NH House on HB415: The Bathroom Bill

The following letter from a consortium of concerned citizens was sent to the New Hampshire House on Monday, April 6th, in reference to bill HB415 (often referred to as The Bathroom Bill) that was coming to the floor for pre passage hearings:

Dear Honorable Representative,

On Wednesday, April 8, you will be taking up reconsideration of HB 415, adding the terms “gender identity or expression” to the anti-discrimination laws.  Much has been said on this particular bill and we would ask that you please exercise serious caution before voting whether or not to reconsider this piece of legislation.
During the Judiciary Committee’s deliberations on this bill, it was accurately recorded that the persons this bill aims to protect, those born with the conditions stated above, or those who have undergone or are currently undergoing sex re-alignment surgery (commonly referred to as transsexuals), are already covered under the state’s anti-discrimination laws, under the term “sex”.

Rather, HB 415 would provide ‘protections’ for ANY PERSON who simply claims discrimination on the grounds of “expressing” the gender of their choosing.  Attached, you will find a list and sources of common terms and expressions widely accepted within popular culture and contemporary academic settings that fall under “gender identity and expression”.  [As you will see, the list currently stands at 72 terms and expressions.   It is quite obvious to see how many employers, businesses, municipalities, and other institutions may be placed in the position of having to make precarious decisions for fear of being sued on the grounds of “gender expression” discrimination.  Undoubtedly, countless numbers of lawsuits will result should this legislation pass as written.]
The bill’s sponsors admitted defeat on the phony “findings” to justify passage of H.R. 1913. TVC hammered them on these phony findings that claimed homosexuals and drag queens were fleeing across state lines to avoid personal attacks. The Democrats voted to remove the “findings.”  

• Legislative advocates for the bill’s passage had claimed that the interstate commerce clause applied to protecting gays and drag queens, but without the “findings” this excuse has been taken from them!
• During the hearings, Lesbian Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) was visibly shaken and upset by a series of questions about sexual orientation and gender identity. She refused to define what gender or “gender identity” might mean in the law. She was repeatedly asked to define these terms and she danced around giving a real answer.
• The legislation’s Democratic sponsors refused to add members of the military, seniors, unborn babies, pregnant women, and Americans targeted by illegals as protected classes under this hate crimes bill! Clearly: gays and drag queens are of more value than these persons.
• The bill’s sponsors admitted that “animus” – or what a person thinks – is the basis for enhanced penalties against homosexuals, bisexuals, and transsexuals. They have admitted that this is a thought crime bill! - People will be punished for what they think – not just for their violent actions!
• Rep. Gerald Nadler (D-NY) admitted that this bill is designed to raise the penalties for crimes against these specially protected groups!
• This is unequal protection under the law. Nadler’s specially-protected groups are more valuable than soldiers, the elderly or pregnant women.

For the moment this bill has been stopped in its tracks.

Your Son (Daughter) Married a - What?

Keeping in mind that decent citizens do not countenance the killing of one human being by another - except in self defense or war, do the results of a recent court trial represent a modern-day lynching?

Noting that most countries have provisions on their law books for 'crimes of passion' or 'crimes born of temporary insanity', which when proven to the court's satisfaction allow for lenience in sentencing in said circumstances. That said, one has to regard the following case with some fear for human rights in the new Liberal Order:

Transgender Murder Trial First To Use Hate-Crime Status

Allen Andrade was charged with beating to death 18-year-old transgender teen, Angie Zapata (born Justin Zapata), with a fire extinguisher. Andrade had not denied beating Zapata, but his lawyers argue he snapped after discovering - 'she' - was biologically a man and that the killing was not planned, but - an act of passion stirred from deception.

Federal law currently does not cover hate crimes based on sexual orientation or gender identity and gay-rights activists have been pushing to have new legislation passed. The 'claimed' bias-motivated crime has become a landmark court case in the state and the country.

"What you're doing is setting policy that this type of behavior is no longer acceptable," said Carlos Martinez, with the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. "I think you start changing the mind set of people and over time, you definitely will see a reduction in hate crime.” concedes

Andrade 32, has been found guilty of first-degree murder. and sentenced to mandatory life in prison for the killing. The jury of eight-man and four women deliberated for less than - two hours - before reaching their verdict.

Less than - two hours - to determine the lifetime fate of a man who may have - committed a crime of passion or experienced a moment of temporary insanity.

From the evidence reported at trial, there is every indication that such was the case. But instead, to make a point for the 'New Social Order', the jurors chose instead to find him guilty of a - hate crime.

In reality, Andrade's crime was 'acting out violently to being sexually deceived' - not premeditated murder.

Let's face it, the man was lynched!

ACLU Asks Tennessee Schools to Stop Banning Gay Educational Sites

A school librarian and two high school students from Tennessee have sought the help of the American Civil Liberties Union, saying that their school district has blocked access to online information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues.

As many as 107 Tennessee public school districts could be illegally preventing students from accessing online information about LGBT issues by activating the Internet filtering category designated “LGBT,” says a letter from the ACLU to school officials at Knox County Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools, and the Tennessee Schools Cooperative.

As a result of using the Educational Networks of America (ENA) filtering software students using school computers cannot view political and educational information about LGBT issues and well-known national organizations such as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), and the Human Rights Campaign.

Just take the time to look at the roster of 'well-funded' organizations that want access to your child's learning processes. It is almost reminiscent of the of the well-made 1956 science fiction film, "Invasion of the body Snatchers." The big difference is that this time the Invaders don't need pods from outer space - they have Congress.

People will be punished for what they think – not just for their violent actions!

These organizations and advocates of the 'lifestyles' they represent are determined to ram their ideology down the throats of your children – irrespective of your personal or moral beliefs.  They don’t want you to have a legal leg to stand on to refute them – and they’re succeeding.

For those among you who feel that we who fear what’s coming are being a bit too paranoid, I beg you to be careful of what you say or, more importantly - what you think.  For soon, your thoughts may not be yours to control or not, as we will all eventually be under the scrutiny of the new – Thought Police.

I'll bet few of you ever thought that the world depicted in H.G.Wells "1984" would look anything like this! Scary isn't it?
